Synology NAS - SYSTEM: [chromium] stopped running because the system is out of memory

I'm wondering if anyone can help me out.

My Synology NAS, which has been rock solid for years, appears to be working VERY hard the past few days. I keep getting this error:

SYSTEM: [chromium] stopped running because the system is out of memory.

A little research shows that Channels DVR installs a headless version of Chrome. This appears to be the culprit as to why the system is locking up. Its odd since Channels DVR has been solid for years and the latest update was on 5/18/26.

Are these linked or is something else the culprit? I also run a bunch of Docker containers that are purely there for Channels DVR support.

The included chromium headless browser is used for TVE channels.

Did you check the Synology Resource Monitor to see if your memory is being used up?

Are you running Channels DVR from the Synology Package, or in a Docker Container?

Did you run the DVR Diagnostics Support > Diagnostics and see all green check marks ?

Have you tried updating to the latest pre-release version? Pre-Release access for DVR subscribers

Have you tried updating the included Chrome? Youtube TV can no longer be added to TVE - #9 by chDVRuser
