Synology Scheduled Recording always stops at some point

I have Channels set up on my Synology. Everything works great except that at some point scheduled recording would stop and would not record. I notice that tends to happen when I delete some recorded content from Channels DVR.

Admittedly, I am unsure about whether deleting a recording also deletes the Pass. However, the pass would still be active, although no more recording.

Second, I am unsure about the order to do the DVR because I come from Sling, where I'd hit DVR and all episodes, and that would be it. Hence, does it matter if I hit record for the episode first before creating the pass, or must I create the pass first, then hit record?

I've been experimenting with this for a couple of months. The only thing holding me here is the auto-skipping commercials. However, I've been experiencing lots of unreality. I've been pausing another service while experimenting with this

I am open to feedback on how this should be done and if it can be fixed before closing the chapter. Thank you.

You need to give specific details like what are you recording with a pass and what does the pass look like and what source/s are you recording it from.

There is no "record every airing of the same episode" in Channels DVR. It only records an episode once.

Deleting a recording will not stop a pass from recording.

You can record either single episodes or record a shows episodes from a pass.
If you record a single episode, the pass will see that and not record that episode also since you manually scheduled it.

I am recording from IPTV, DirecTV, Hulu Live, and Fubo. The pass looks active. However, I no longer see the scheduled recording for new episodes/shows.

Good to know that deleting an episode does not delete the pass.

We can't help without seeing the Pass (advanced view) in question.
If the pass "looks active", then what's wrong with it?

It's not recording new episodes/"shows episodes from a pass".

So maybe there aren't any NEW episodes airing according to your guide data.
We can only guess without seeing your Pass advanced view.
