Is there anything else I need to do on my NAS besides install the spk file. Do I need to create a folder on the NAS? Is there any guide for this?
We recommend you create a DVR folder. You can do that before hand, or after installing the spk during the DVR setup.

For better portability and app consistency, I’m running the Channels DVR Docker image under the Synology Docker app. It works very well. You need to running it with host networking mode for UDP, and under privileged mode to access the /dev/dri hardware encoder but other than that it is just a matter of mapping the Docker paths to shared vols in DSM.
how do i setup the folder on the NAS, who needs access to it? i am buying DVR service today.
Create a folder called DVR and let admin read/write
