Synology: Transcoder Finished

Hiya

I’m running the latest Channels DRV on a Synology DS1815+. I started watching a programme on my iPad last night and went to finish it on my Mac this morning and the “spinning play wheel” (I doubt that’s what it is called!) sat there … spinning. So I tried another episode. Near the end I clicked and jumped past the final set of adverts and the same thing: “spinning play wheel”.

In both instances, the bottom of the window reads: Transcoder Finished.

In both instances, I cannot replay the episodes and all I get is Transcoder Finished + spinning wheel.

Any thoughts?

What browser were you using on the Mac? Can you try with Chrome and see if the same thing happens.

I was using Chrome. I’m not particularly bothered which browser I use, so I fired up Safari and it sat there for a second or two displaying Transcoder Finished and then it started transcoding again from the beginning. I’ll give Safari a go for a while and update here if it happens again.
