Tailscale Connected = No Local Network

Hi all,

I've just setup a fresh DVR server using the Raspberry Pi image and enabled Tailscale but it seems when I do so the server looses access to the local network, i.e. I can stream remote sources but not local ones. From the moment I disable Tailscale I can stream channels from local sources again.

I've logged into the server over SSH to try and determine how Tailscale is configured but I'm guessing Channels has Tailscale running in some sort of container as Tailscale isn't connected at the OS level.

I have a dozen devices connected to my tailnet, and I'm by no means an expert in using it but I've never encountered something like this before.

Has anyone any tips on what I can try?

Do you have custom routes?

I'm a bit guilty of setting and forgetting when it comes to Tailscale as it (usually) just works so I'm not sure what counts a custom route.

I have a couple of machines advertising exit nodes, a few machines are also advertising subnets (I've ensured each one is a unique range) and I've disabled Magic DNS.

You can disable the built in Tailscale and try enabling it over ssh instead
