Tailscale has stopped working for me

I tried to access Channels remotely today and couldn’t connect via TailScale. I checked all of my settings including the host ip address (TailScale) and all seems well but never was able to connect…

Any thoughts?

I would recommend testing the remote capability while at home.

You should provide more information if you want help troubleshooting, like
What Channels DVR server and clients are you using.
Using Channels integrated Tailscale or Tailscale on the devices
What error occurs on what device
Can you see the server and clients on your tailnet in the Tailscale admin view
etc.

Please disregard, it was my fault. I simply had to re-login from the client devices…. Thanks for reminding me. :grinning:

To prevent this from happening, you can disable key expiry on devices you don't want to have to re-login to occasionally. It is slightly less secure but I do it on Tailscale machines that are remote to my location.

It is done from the admin console (web page where you manage machine) - see below except if you have key expiry turned on it will say 'Disable key expiry':
