If you are using channels with a cable card and HDHomeRun Prime, simply subscribe to the channel
You can use either the fubo bridge or an hdmi encoder or cc4c to pipe it in

does cc4c require a chrome tab to be open and playing that particular channel at all times in order for that channel to be piped?
Only when you're viewing/recording the channel

It doesn't work like that.You need a computer to run CC4C with. Once a channel is called, it'll open a tab on Chrome in your computer
I understand I have the computer to run CC4C what I mean is would the tabbed be opened automatically when I press for that channel to be watched in the channelsdvr app ot do I have to open the tab on my own?

What happens when you tried it?
when i click to watch the channel the app comes up as if I havent logged in even though on the computer where i installed channels and chrome for capture i am logged in to hulu or sling
So then login in the tab or window that opens on the computer.
nothing opens up on the computer, the screen asking me to login from is from either my phone, tablet or fire tv or whatever device im trying to watch from but i cannot interact with that screen.
