Just wanted to thank @eric for helping me get my remote streaming issues fixed.
I recently moved my Channels DVR server to a new machine, and due to a family issue had to rush to another state without testing. Of course, I was unable to stream to my iPhone/iPad once I got to my destination 
Turns out it was a just a simple fix by turning HVEC streaming off.
Grateful for such a responsive team around here
