Looks like Channels did an auto upgrade today and crashed in the process. Upon restarting manually and trying to access the DVR web service, I receive this error:
An error has occurred
The redirect uri included is not valid.
This is, of course, after clicking on the “Login” button. The version that it’s currently running is 2017.01.17.2332 on macOS.
Oh, and the uninstall.sh script does nothing, so it didn’t immediately seem possible to start over.
Any advice?

The redirect error happens if the url you’re using to access the DVR isn’t a local ip.
It sounds like you ran the new binary by hand, which is probably why it came up as a fresh install. The server has to be run inside the data directory. I recommend you shut down the server you started manually and follow the instructions in the other thread.
