Thumbnails when scrubbing?

I'm considering coming back to Channels with TV Everywhere supplied by ATT TV. I'm coming most recently from YouTube TV which had an awesome feature of a thumbnail preview when scrubbing back and forth through shows/recordings. Is this thumbnail present in Channels somehow or planned?

Thumbnails are not currently present with Channels DVR. Not sure that feature is on the road map, but channels "jumps" forward and backward it doesn't scrub as you describe.

No thumbnail, but the whole screen changes as I scrub. I’m using the touchpad on the Siri remote (AppleTV)
