On Synology NAS in UK (currently in BST time)
In settings page, timezone shows WET but guide is showing times in BST
This means that when I set an advanced pass for say 8am, it records the episode shown as 9am in the guide
Can I change the DVR settings timezone to GMT (+ daylight saving)?
That should be coming from your Synology.
What does your Synology show in Control Panel->Regional Options?
Nice one. It was set to GMT Casablanca for some reason but sorted after changing to London then a reboot
I know this is an old thread, but I'm having the exact same problem on a Windows based DVR setup.. I am in GMT-5 (Eastern) and my computer is set properly and displays the correct time, but on the channels webpage it shows 2 hours later, and says PST, even though PST should be 3 hours behind me. I can't find anywhere else to set this?!

Can you screenshot what you're referring to? Do you specifically see PST on the Settings tab, or are you seeing the wrong times on the Guide tab?
Does https://time.is/ show the correct time?
So.. as soon as I wrote that, it kind of changed.. but it's still wrong. It's saying PST even though my server and client are both set to EST (GMT-5).. It was reflecting the "up since" time as 2 hours off too, but now that seems to be correct.
This screenshot is from my workstation, but I did verify the TZ is the same on the server, and both machines show the correct local time on https://time.is
