I use Closed Captions a lot. And I often use my iPhone as a remote. This button (in Apple's Remote app) highlights when I tap it, but doesn't actually do anything in Channels:
The CC button does work here, via the Control Center:
and it works on the Lock Screen, too.
It'd be great if it worked the same, in Apple's Remote app. That's the one I use the most.
