I just found out too many docker containers slow down ChannelsDVR!
I had a BUNCH of the ********* for channels docker containers running on my NAS and I took all but one off
and now channels runs AWESOME!
This is probably more related to the specs of NAS. However I tend to prefer using the m3u versions instead of docker versions to be both easier and more reliable. It just "fixes" itself most of time. IE. person maintaining m3u will fix it if it fails.

I am currently running 14 containers on my seven year old, but well powered, Ubuntu mini PC. Some support Channels. Others are for Home Assistant, Plex, etc. I have observed zero performance issues with this setup. But every server has its limits and that goes for NAS devices too. It isn't Docker's fault.
