I can confirm topshelf is working. I had to first remove it from the top row of apps and then add it back. I loaded the channels after that.

Still no top shelf for me. Anything I can do to troubleshoot more? I moved it from the top row and put it back. I get the AppleTV logo for a second and then the āChannels - Live TV right next to your appsā comes up.
Try entering the ip of your primary device back into the app.
I was still not getting guide data with the latest update until I switched my EPG provider from SD to Gracenote, left the app and moved it out of the top shelf, then moved it back. That got content in there but Gracenoteās. I then changed it back to SD but still have Gracenoteās images loading there.
An ATV restart brings me back to the static image and no content up there.
Tried entering the ip. It finds to prime, but still nothing on the top shelf. Everything else seems to be working fine and very solid.
Ok, I switch to gracenote and get the top shelf now. Some channels are missing info, but it at least shows up. Switching back to the sd guide seems to keep the gracenote guide in the top shelf. After restarting the AppleTV, I am back to the logo. Seems to act the same as the previous post. Possible an issue with guide data from sd with my channels? It looks like it only list the favorites on the to shelf, so maybe I can play with that to weed out some of the data.
Ah, now getting somewhere. Switch to my OTA connect device and picked two channels for favorites. They show in the top shelf with the sd guide. Iāll try the same two channels on the prime and report back.
No luck there. Selecting the same channels over cable (804, 809) has the top shelf revert to the logo. Seems to work fine with the OTA channels (4.1, 9.1) I am on Xfinity in Fredericksburg VA with these broadcast channels out of Washington DC.
One last note for the night (sorry about all the replies), my channels listing in settings has the first 4 being DRM, but not favorited. Not sure if that matters.
Have latest beta and no top shelf for me either. Have tried all the fixes but no luck. Prime 3 as well.

Usually top shelf problems happen when the Shelf extension canāt find the hdhomerun, but since itās working for you guys when you switch to Gracenote we can rule that out. Very helpful.
As @Jeremyamoore said, it almost seems like it has something to do with the guide data coming from SD. We have crash reporting enabled and are seeing zero crashes, so Iām really perplexed. We have seen some weird bugs in the past with broken images that can cause problems, so perhaps thatās related.
When you tried this, were 804 and 809 the only favorites? Or were there others as well? I wonder if you removed all your favs and then selected just one if it would show up or not.
Yes, I removed all other favorites so it was only the two.
I downloaded the latest beta earlier today. Moved the app icon out of the top and then back. The top shelf did not load. I submitted the log via the app. Hopefully the extra logging helps.
Top Shelf has been fixed for PRIME users with lots of channels in the latest beta. Please report if you are still having issues.
Yep, that fixed it for me! Updated the app and then back to the app on the home screen. The top shelf was populated. Did not have to move it out and back in. Thanks.
