I like the Up Next in the top shelf but I would love to have the option to have the channels listed first or the Up Next instead of Up Next by default. I don’t record a ton so the channels would be more convenient more often.

Wondering if you could revisit this topic.
We’d like to be able to use the Up Next feature within the app(s), however, we also prefer On Now channels to appear first on Top Shelf.
As there is no option to pick Top Shelf contents (or set order), we have had to compromise by assigning all series to not be included in Up Next.
If an option was added for Top Shelf contents, we could have On Now (on Top Shelf) AND use Up Next feature AND also not have to manually mark every series.

Yeah I feel like the top shelf is more helpful to see things at a glance. I don’t know what’s on tv at the moment so it’s nice to see that first thing. I already know what I have been recording and that’s more of a deliberate choice to go in the app and watch one.
I agree. On Now is what I’m after more often than not. Like others I’ve had to manually mark recordings to not be included in up next in order to maintain On Now functionality. An option to choose the order would be a very good middle ground.

Just setup a new series, however it appears that I will not be able to set the resultant recordings to not be included in Up Next until at least one episode has been recorded.
Seems like a lot of keystrokes and now waiting for time elapsed to first recording to be able to produce a workaround to obtain the original Top Shelf default of On Now.

Excited to be able to use Up Next within app…it’s a great shortcut as we usually store up show recordings and then binge watch.
