I recommended Channels Plus to a friend who wants to cut the cord and assisted him in setting up a Channels Plus DVR server. He is using the Fire TV client with it, but along the way noted that he already had a “channel plus“ app on his LG smart TV. It sounded the same, but when I asked him to describe its logo, it didn’t sound like the “color bars” logo that I recognize for channels plus.
It was confusing, however, and led me to wonder if Fancy Bits has trademarked its icon and/or product. I’m no expert at search, but I found four live word marks for “channel plus” in different classes and nothing for “channels” plus. Perhaps you should consider consulting an IP attorney.
