I’m not sure the best way to solve this, but I’m curious if there could be different transcoder settings for local vs external streaming via the web interface? When I’m in my own house I’d like to make the rate for the highest quality, but when I’m outside the house and connecting remotely I’d like to reduce the rate. I find that I’m always messing with the settings to ensure I don’t bust through my cellular data plan.
Maybe what I’m requesting doesn’t make sense as I’ll just switch to the iOS app when it’s released. I figure you’ll have settings within the app to handle wifi vs cellular streaming rates.
