Nvidia Shield as DVR only and Clients tested are Android TV (Sony) and Android 10 Phone. (Pixel 4XL) Also tested AppleTV4k posted below.
1080i OTA station LIVE or Recorded, I have to set the Transcoder to Hardware for it to work. On Software it constantly starts and stops.
720p OTA station LIVE or Recorded, I have to set the Transcoder to Software for it to work. On Hardware the Video Studders.
Also I cannot Transcode multiple LIVE channels at once either as it is also a constant start and stop.
1080 or 720 from TVE works just fine and transcode multiple streams without issue using either software or hardware transcoder.
AppleTV the only issue is using the Software Decoder on 1080i it has the same constant start and stop as Android and I still can't Transcode multiple live OTA stations.
