Transferring recordings as MP4

For recordings that are in the .mpg format, what's the most expedient way of getting them to .mp4 format. Leaving on a trip soon to an area with no internet connectivity and would like to bring some content along. My Vizio TV in the RV will play .mp4 files from a flash drive so that is what I'm looking to do.

VLC
Handbrake
FFmpeg Batch AV Converter

Tdarr or Fileflows are the best options for any batch converting jobs. For anything basic I would use Handbrake or FFMPEG

Another option is downloading the recordings to a Channels client device and using it to play them back on the Vizio TV. I think it's only supported on iOS devices though. Channels Support - Offline Downloads

Thanks, folks! FFmpeg is doing the job for me.

Yeah, downloading to a client is only available on iOS devices. Don't have one of those.
