I often record sports and end up recording more time in case of overtime / extra innings etc. Some of the games I delete after watching but many more I like keeping. It would be nice to be able to have a UI to trim the recording a la how the Apple Photos app works so you can save space on the recordings.
Agreed 100%, to be able to do this via the Channels UI ("trim to/from here") would be an amazing feature.
With hockey season starting back up, I was just thinking the same thing. I have my Lightning recordings set to add 4 hours because you never know. Would be nice to trim that back to just the game, for any recordings I want to keep.
