Trouble setting recording location

I've installed channels as an add-on in Home Assistant. It's working perfectly.
I have sources from TV Everywhere and HDHomeRun.
It's recording and playing back from recordings

My problem is I can't get Channelss to save recording on a remote share.
I have configured a share on another Linux node and confirmed I have access.
But Channels does not save recordings there, even though I have set the path for the server.
No error when I set the location and reenable the server. It continues to save recordings on Home Assistant. I see the free space decrease on HA when I record and increase when I delete recordings.
If I try to access the log in Channels, I get a spinning donut of death ???

OK .. figured it out.

  1. Installed and configured NFS share on the remote server as 192.xxx.xxx.xxx/mnt/dvr
  2. Added network storage in HA
    Name: dvr
    Usage: Media
    Server: 192.xxx.xxx.xxx
    Protocol: NFS
    Remote share path: /mnt/dvr
  3. Pointed Channels at: /media/dvr

Data shows up in HA: Media>My media>dvr

It's too bad HA doesn't allow a USB HDD to be added like it was network-attached.

Now 3.4 TB of video storage
