In recent beta versions of the Apple TV app, I've no longer been able to skip commercials by saying, "Siri, skip commercial".
In a previous beta version, instead of skipping the commercial, it would pause the program that was playing, open the Music App and start playing something random. Weird. I resorted to grabbing the remote and clicking the button instead.
In the latest beta versions of the Channels App, when I ask Siri to skip the commercial when the button appears, she responds, "I'm sorry. I'm unable to skip this".
I've dialed back to using the latest Release version, which works as expected, but I just wanted to report this in case you didn't know.
