What do you mean by set guide

when I click to set the epg I add the area code and then at that point when I start to type to find the channel that's the error i get. channels crashes

when you try to match a guide channel to the lineup channel, it crashes.

It doesn't crash for me so I am looking for more specific steps and information about which type of source, which type of lineup, which location, etc.
