Hi all - I noticed that 2 tuners are consumed if I have 2 ATV both watching the same live channel. Anyway to leverage a single tuner for this use case? I believe the DVR also works the same way meaning if I am recording a program and watching that program at the same time, 2 tuners are consumed.
There is no easy way to share a tuner between two ATVs.
With the DVR, you can start recording a show and then watch the in-progress recording from both TVs. It’s a little confusing at the moment, you would need to:
- start watching the channel on an ATV
- swipe down the Quick Bar
- swipe down to the Record button and click it
- start the recording
- hit Menu twice to leave the Quick Bar and video player
- click the show again
- click Watch from the Start
