I was recording a game yesterday and wanted to delete and watch a different program but it wouldn’t release the tuners to do so, even after I deleted the recording.
How do I accomplish that for next time?
Apple tv 4k, and on 2018.04.07.0329 with Connect Duo
Deleting a recording will stop it and should release the tuner.
You can check your DVR web page (https://my.channelsdvr.net) next time and see what it says under the Activity section. If a recording is in progress, go to DVR > Schedule page to stop it.
If activity is empty, that means something else is using your tuner. You can check by clicking into Tuner Status via https://my.hdhomerun.com
