"Tuner not Responding" on all Hulu Live Channels

I have a slow internet connection (4-5 mbits/sec). Channels DVR cannot tune to any Hulu Live channels, displaying the error "Tuner not Responding." However all the channels play fine when directly using the Hulu Live App, and all other applications also play fine (at 720p).

These symptoms lead me to believe the issue is the way Channels DVR handles the Hulu live streams (perhaps there is an artificially low timeout value or something?). Any thoughts?

Do the streams play correctly from the web site for the channel? For example, if you go to http://nbc.com/live and login with your Hulu credentials, does it play? Channels DVR does not use your Hulu stream, but does use the streams from the individual web sites.

What does the dvr log show?
