TVOS now supports showing upcoming sports games within the TV app and linking to the respective app that is able to stream it (ESPN, NBA, etc). It would be amazing if Channels could support this feature and show as available for watching any available OTA games.

The TV app isn’t something third party developers have access to. Its all driven by specially selected partners by Apple, just like Siri search.
