I have a series pass for “After The Flood” on ITV HD [103] (U.K. Freeview). Series pass details are SeriesID == 26344504 and Tags == New. It should record new episodes every Wednesday at 9pm and has done so until now. Earlier this week I happened to read that next week’s episode (originally scheduled for Wed 7th Feb at 9pm) was moved to Fri 9th Feb at 9pm due Live Football coverage impacting ITV’s schedules. After reading about this change I checked the DVR server logs and saw that Channels cancelled the Wed 7th Feb recording as expected:

However, it has not scheduled the recording of the rescheduled episode on Fri 9th Feb at 9pm, even though it is listed in the Channels DVR guide. I know I can set a manual recording to workaround this issue but my concern is why hasn’t the DVR automatically scheduled this recording? Is this a bug or guide data issue? If I hadn’t read about this schedule change I would have missed a recording. I assume it’s because the listing in the TV guide for the episode on Fri 9th Feb at 9pm doesn’t show the ‘New’ tag, which isn’t correct because it is new and is the first airing of the new episode.
