Is there a possible chance that TV show metadata is able to be added?
This is possible with movies added from elsewhere on my NAS however adding TV shows would be a dream and my switch from plex would be complete

TV show imports aren’t yet supported. Additionally, movie imports are still a pre-alpha feature.
Is there a timeframe of when this is coming out?

I would really like this feature too. The ability to import an existing Movie library is brilliant!
Local files/local media library playback is a pre-alpha thing. no idea on their roadmap on improving that feature.
