TV Show not matching

Hi, I imported "Colin From Account (2022)" which Plex finds. Channels matched it as "Dianne From Accounts (2023)".

Under fix match I don't see the show in Gracenote however TheMovieDB finds it but when I select it nothing happens.

Anyone else had this/know of a solution?

It's actually "Colin From Accounts (2022)"
Unfortunately TV Shows have to be matched using gracenote before you can match their episodes using TMDB.

That one seems to be everywhere except gracenote.
Looks like it airs on the Australian channel Binge. Don't know if gracenote has listings for Australia.
Maybe @tmm1 can find the tms id for it, which can be used to find match.

Yes, sorry, typo on the forum, not in channels itself. Either way it’s available everywhere but on Channels correctly.

I record it from BBC2. The advanced pass has: SeriesID == 23405194
Not sure if that would work for you?

Doesn’t work with the fix match?

Yah, you would need the tms series id (like SH000044440000 for This Old House).
I don't know if there's any way to look that up using the SeriesID.

I see it:

It looks like the Title, Description, and Image get stuck, but the episode descriptions get updated. You'll have to manually edit those:

Took me just a couple of minutes:

Thank You!

Found it.

@alex_m

Use this for the show title search when doing the fix match with gracenote SH045837990000
Once you do that, you can fix match with TMDB for all the episodes if needed.

@chDVRuser how do you have BBC2 in your guide? :astonished:

It's just the guide data. Custom M3U channel.

Ahhhh OK! I thought you knew something I didn't because I would have loved to have BBC channels on my server. :joy:

Oh, I can play them too. But what appears in the player is TV Land from my HDHR Prime.

Hi there, yes so I realised it didn't change to title/description/image etc so I did do that, no worries.

This worked thank you!

How did you get from

SeriesID == 23405194

to

SH045837990000

out of interest? Annoying it doesn't find it first time!

Glad it worked for you.

It was in the BBC2 guide data.
I know of three ways to find the tms id for a show/special/movie.

  1. It's in the recorded file json for a recording you made in Channels DVR (with gracenote EPG)
  2. It's in the guide data if any of your sources have a current airing (with gracenote EPG)
  3. Search by title at zap2it.com (it uses gracenote EPG)

Since none of those three worked, I loaded guide data for BBC2 (thanks to BigCouch) and found it there by searching for the title in Channels DVR and verifying the episodes had that SeriesID.
