TV Shows > All Shows > Sort Not Remembered

On Apple TV, when using the “TV Shows” sub option “All Shows” and setting the sort option to “Recently Added” or “Newly Released”, then selecting any show but immediately backing out, the sort option reverts to “Alphabetical” instead of the previously selected sort option.

One shouldn’t have to again set the sort option to continue looking at “All Shows” using their desired sort option.

This is in the latest versions of Beta and Released code.

It is also in the latest versions of iOS and iPadOS Beta and production code. These show the correct sort option selected, but the actual sort order has reverted to “Alphabetical”.

This same behavior exists in the “All Movies” sorting.

Yes, on all devices.

I see that if Enhanced Library is turned off the problem above are gone. This tells me that there is a problem only with the Enhanced Library enabled.

But why should something else override the selected sort option in “All Shows” or “All Movies”?

Thanks for the confirmation. I was able to find the bug. Like you said it is specific to the Enhanced Library code. It will be fixed in the next release.
