I updated my computer over the weekend and had to reinstall CHANNELS.
I made a Partition for all things CHANNELS to have it in one spot with limits to size and etc.
BUT I can't get them to show in my Channels. They worked before when I had them in the MOVIE folder in my OS...but now nothing - I am thinking it has to do with it being on a separate Volume I made? Or what am I missing?

Which part is not working?
When I connect it doesn’t see the mediA movies or Tv shows...but if I put it back into the native MOVIE folder, it shows!
Check the Log tab and see if any errors are shown

It can't be inside the dvr directory. If you must put it there, make an Imports directory first.

First, I really appreciate the quick assistance you have given me (and the community)... just wanted to get that out!
Second, you said make “imports” directory... I have a partitioned “volume” specifically for Channels on my HD... what is an IMPORTS DIRECTORY, and/or would you suggest something else? Everything works very well, I just want to keep it separate and maximize performance...

In the directory that you have your DVR using (the one with the Database, Logs, Movies, TV, etc., directories), create an additional directory there called Imports. Then from there you can create additional directories for your local content:

[robert@bragi ~]$ ls /mnt/ten/channels/Imports/
movies tvshows
