Hi - this has been happening for a few weeks and happens several times a day
Watching TV fine, and the TV just turns off - i have been using this app for years and never had this issue
Set up is LG tv with Apple tv 4k plugged in
Mac Mini running DVR with a External 10tb drive for recording etc
Any Help would be amazing
I had a problem where my LG TV, Dennon AVR and Apple TV 4K would reboot.
It took me a while to figure it out, but I replaced the ATV with a Roku. After two months without the problem, I put the ATV back and the problem returned.
Problem was the Apple TV was overheating. Apple replaced the unit under warranty.
I tried another Apple TV and still had the same issue. I feel like it happens when it's recording live TV on the hard drive, but who knows?
If your using CEC to turn the TV on. Try turning CEC off.
Thank you. I will try that, but it only happens when using Channels DVR, so I feel like its something to do with that
Sounds to me like the TV thinks everything has gone idle and is turning itself off. I'd try looking for power-saving settings on your TV and disabling those.
