TVE 6205 Fox Sports Indiana Feed Incorrect

This is currently being fed by Fox Sports St. Louis.

Not getting the Indiana Pacers game, but a St. Louis hockey game instead.

• TVE has been rescanned multiple times
• Latest beta software on server
• Guide shows correct info (compared to YTTV)

It shows Pacers postgame on Fox Sports Indiana in the iOS app.

It shows St. Louis hockey on Fox Sports Indiana in the browser.
It also shows Pacers postgame on Fox Sports Indiana in the browser.

Tonight there is no incorrect recording in that there is no Pacers recording.

The TVE channel 6205 continues to to either not match the guide information, or the feed is switched to color bars.

So who do I contact about the TVE feed being wrong?

I’m almost 100% convinced that the TVE feed is being purposefully misdirected at times. This is not a technical issue; it’s an operational issue.

The last 36 hours have the TVE guide matching the actual TVE 6205 feed. However when the program is supposed to be a Pacers game according to the Channels guide for Fox Sports Indiana (and Fox Sports Go and YTTV) the TVE feed is now something else (and other feeds do have Pacers basketball as scheduled).

Still the question is who do I contact about this?

Sorry for the delay as I’ve been away.

I found last night’ Pacers/Pistons game successfully recorded today on the DVR.

When I checked the TVE live feed moments ago, it was:

This evening’s TVE feed is wrong again. Guide says Pacers/Nicks, feed is actually NHL Leafs/Blues from St. Louis.

The FoxSportsGo app is correct in that the guide says Pacers/Nicks and the feed is the same as advertised. YTTV has the same correct match (guide/feed) for Fox Sports Indiana. The Leafs/Blues game is listed/showing on Fox Sports Indiana Plus there.

This is frustrating as a Pacers fan and an advocate of Channels DVR. I have been monitoring the Fox Sports Indiana feed on TVE 6205 feed through the Channels app, the FoxSportsGo app, and the YTTV app.

The guide info for all apps matches at all times. The feed on each app always matches the guide except on the Channels app near the time of a Pacers game. Somehow the feed is switched to Fox Sports St. Louis or Fox Sports Indiana Plus, neither which carry the Pacers game. A couple of hours after the game’s airing and then full immediate replay the feed matches the guide again.

This appears for the live feed, and thus the recording is not the expected Pacers game.

I’m using a Synology DS918+ for Channels DVR. YTTV is the provider.

Thank you for sharing your observations. I think this may be a caching issue in the DVR since we assume the live feed doesn't change like it appears to do for your station.

I'm uploading a new pre-release build which lowers the cache timeout. You can try it by click-and-hold on the Check for Update button.

I watched the pacers game without an issue last night. I'm curious why it isn't working for you. I'm using a mac mini as the DVR and ATT TV NOW is our provider.

I downloaded the 2019.12.12.0411 Beta update.

Currently I have a Pacers game being recorded off of the TVE 6205 Fox Sports Indiana.

I hope this holds up. I’ll be checking over the next few days.
