Yesterday I scanned all of my TVE channels and ABC was found to be accessible by the Channels DVR scan.
Today I repeated the scan and ABC was not accessible, got a message like "TVE not supported by your provider for this channel." But if I go to ABC's web site, the Live TV section, and put in my ISP credentials I can live stream.
I'm new to Channels so any basic feedback is likely to help with my learning curve.
Try toggling off then back on Local Networks via TV Everywhere at the bottom of the server settings page. Enable https:// if it asks.
Thanks, good idea, but didn't change anything after rescan.
I get the same thing with ABC in my market. I can log into the website and stream but no go via TVE. i think i remember reading something about ABC differences between different stations feeds or something. I never worried too much about it since i get it OTA.
Yes I get it OTA also but am in the process of mapping some channels and was glad to see the ABC TVE as a more weather-resistant source.
Channels TVE is experimental so I'm hoping this discussion will give them something for their worklist as they progress with the development.
