Is there a way to download all of a show that the TVE provider has? Or it it just for stuff that “airs”?

If you’re referring to “on-demand” back catalogs, no. The DVR only records content that is being aired live on the channel.

No. You can check out something like PlayOn

Looks great, except it’s windows... haven’t had a windows computer in 15 years... I could put a windows VM on a Linux box...
