Trying to add Sling TV as a Source and get the following:
chrome failed to start: [0428/122540.885189:WARNING:dns_config_service_linux.cc(427)] Failed to read DnsConfig.
I'm using a Synology NAS for storage location. I've checked Support Trouble shooting and updated chrome...still get same thing.
TVE is pretty much dead as it releates to sline.
TBS and TNT are pretty much it.
Did you update to the latest pre-release?
And do you have an adblocker installed? That may be the issue there
yes on the pre-release and no on the ad blocker
And you're using the :tve version instead of the normal docker container?
The only other thing I can think of is a DNS issue. Maybe setting the DNS setting to cloudflare's ip may help?

Actually, the last time I had this problem was in 2025...never got resolved. I basically stopped trying. I just changed my streaming source and thought I'd try it again...obviously, same problem.

Might be due to the ARM processor in the Synology?

Yes it does...however, a couple of years ago, I was able to get many channels of TVE on YouTube TV using the same NAS. I'm going to close this out. It's not worth the effort for a couple of channels that I can record using other means...
I don't know if your Synology is supported with the docker container :tve version. Have you tried it?
