TVE no longer works with FuboTV

When I setup TVE a month ago it worked beautifully. Now it fails to stream any of the 155 channels that the scan finds.

I don't know how to troubleshoot this.

Fubo working good here.

Try support --> logs from your DVR homepage, and paste some details here. Can also submit diagnostics from support --> troubleshooting

Here is what the log showed when I tried to stream MSNBC:

2021/04/11 06:12:14.374255 [TVE] action=auth mvpd=Fubo requestor=telemundo
2021/04/11 06:12:14.660763 [ERR] Could not start stream for TVE-Fubo ch6050 MSNBC: TVE: chrome failed to start:

what DVR platform are you on? (windows/mac/linux/pi image). First step would be to try the latest prerelease.

There has been some rumbling of chrome updates being needed for other TVE sources - this could be same thing or similar. If you're on a desktop OS for the DVR, update chrome. If not, try the below:

Running the DVR on Linux Mint.

Most of my viewing is on AppleTV. The error I see on the AppleTV is:
! Chrome failed to start: [0411/071602.2160...

I also installed the most current prerelease but it did not resolve the problem.

Mint is based on Ubuntu, which has moved to using snaps for software installs. There was a bug with a previous versions of Chrome that did not work well, and it looks like you have stumbled upon it.

Is your system fully up-to-date?

(Just one more reason to stay away from Ubuntu and its ilk …)

Just now I removed the FuboTV source entirely and then tried to add it again. It will no longer let me add my FuboTV account to TVE. I get the following message:

Looking at the error posted, the problem isn’t Channels, nor Fubo. The problem is with the version of Chrome that’s installed on your DVR server.

I will check on that now and make sure it is the most current...

Here’s the thread about the error with Ubuntu’s Chrome:

Yes I have this resolved now by updating to the latest Chrome on Linux Mint 20.1

You guys are extremely helpful, and I thank you.

The Mint team removed Snaps front the system be default. You have to specifically enable them i believe.

Ubuntu 20 base has too many issues overall. Many users posted issues with devices and there was direct conflicts that plagued Mint users when they first released Mint 20. printers and scanners, bluetooth and wifi. i had other serious issues testing it out. Mint 19.3 has been rock solid for me with zero issues, other than some initial config issues with Samba that is my fault cause i was not really sure what i was doing when i set up things first time.

But...I moved Channels DVR to Pi4 and the custom image. So far, rock solid and reliable.
