worked flawless for ~3 months, but earlier in the week i got the generic "connection to tuner lost..." message when trying to load anything TVE. everything is good on my TVE account side.
i tried restarting the ATV, restarting DVR server and a few other things but it doesn't seem to be on my end.
this happens on tvOS 17 on an ATV 4k 3rd gen, android and browser. OTA channels work.
there is this related issue but that seems to only affect some channels. i can't get any, so not sure if the same.
Have you clicked on troubleshooting and run the tests?
i did when it happened earlier in the week and they came back good. still not working and i ran it again now:
looks good. i just let it sit last time and it came back by the next day. i'll have to look at the server logs.
was due to no storage left on the drive i assigned channels. i knew i was low and ordered one last week but one of the shows i have a pass for had a two day marathon and took up more space than i was expecting. i'm not sure why i had TVE errors last week but that time it didn't last long and came back on its own.
i thought the buffer was on-device and OTA still worked, so i wasn't connecting the dots it could be a storage issue specifically for TVE until i checked that. i guess it does something else that needs space on the drive vs OTA.
TVE streams have a (small) buffer on the server before they are remuxed and sent to the clients.
