TVE recordings limited to 720p?

Started using Channels DVR yesterday.
Sources: DirecTV, Locast, Xfinity.
I have a few recordings so far from different channels (TruTV, Hallmark channels, Lifetime) and they are all 1280x720. However, in the program descriptions, you can see 1080i.

Limitation of TVE or Channels?

TVE.
Some are 720p, others 1080p.
All stereo audio.

The program description tags for HD, 1080i, etc. come from the guide provider and apply to the satellite, OTA or Cable feeds. Not the TVE feeds.
