TVE setup taking hours, not making progress

Hi. New user here trying to set up my DVR.

I am setting up 2020.09.14.2100 on my QNAP NAS and trying to add a TVE.

All I see in the log is one failed attempt to authorize an account:

I would recommend submitting diagnostics from the DVR server interface. Also, if you can tell us what kind of hardware the server is running on and what kind of internet connection/network connection you have.

For any issues with TVE it's best to make sure you're running the latest pre-release build version of Channels DVR server. Image below is my recommendation for instructions, doesn't represent latest versions.

You might have better luck setting up a docker container via the QNAP container app

My NAS doesn't support that, but good idea.

Installed a new server on my Mac. Worked flawlessly.

If I "port" the DVR to my NAS, do I have to rerun TVE setup or will that port?
