TVE Spectrum no longer working

In the last week, my Spectrum TVE channels stopped working. I decided to remove and re-add the source. However, now I'm stuck at TVE "verifying login to spectrum" unable to advance to channel scans.

I verified my account credentials work and I don't see any access issues (ie. I don't believe it's a network issue).

Is this a known issue? Is there a detailed log that I can review and debug? Thanks

Sounds like chrome is not installed or launching? That's the point where it waits to the version number back from the background chrome.

This is the exact problem I am having with Hulu. I posted in a new thread yesterday but no resolution yet.

Seems like some sort of Windows specific issue.

Do you have the DVR installed in the system tray or as a service?

Does deleting this directory make any difference? c:\programdata\channelsdvr\data\chromedata

Yes, Chrome is installed (Version 89.0.4389.114 (Official Build) (64-bit)), Channels DVR (2021.04.09.2035) running in the background, and I had tried previously deleting the "Provider" folder for spectrum, this didn't help.

It seems like something has changed with either windows or Chrome v89 where it doesn't work when run as a background service?

I'm not sure, there was a recent chrome update... otherwise, nothings changed on my server.

Can you click Support > Troubleshooting > Submit Diagnostics on the DVR web UI

Can you clarify if this is in the system tray with dvr icon there, or a Windows service? Is the service setup manually or via the channels dvr installer?

system tray, DVR icon... Not running an explicit service.

Please try the latest pre-release to see if there is any improvement.

This is very strange.

I just tried in a Windows 10 VM, with 2021.04.14.2035, and it seems to work just fine:

Looks like Chrome v90 came out today because it updated to that when I checked for updates.

I'm trying to run Windows Update now to see if that changes anything.

Upgraded to 10.0.19042 Build 19042 and its still working.

Can you try with Chrome v90?

I updated to 2021.04.12.2035 (Chrome updated to v90) and this seems to have fixed my problem with Hulu log in as I mentioned above. Previously, captcha wasn't coming up when adding Hulu as source.
My server did a Windows update today as well. So I can't say which of these did the trick but I can confirm the combo of these latest versions is working again for Hulu.

Let me jump in. I am on the latest 5/7/2021 build and Spectrum is not working. I'm getting not authorized. I removed provider and added back. I can watch live TV when I go to CNN or USA or others with Spectrum login Any ideas @tmm1

Spectrum is working fine 2021.05.07.1731 I will upgrade to 2021.05.11.1941... tonight so I don't interrupt the tv's streaming now.

Just updated to 2021.05.11.1941 between recordings and spectrum is working just fine.
