TVE Stream Commercials Running into Programming

FWIW I have reached out to Channels Support twice on this issue but have not heard a response (on April 3rd, 2024 and again on May 29th, 2024).

Over the past couple of months or so the TVE stream for Jeopardy which airs on ABC Chicago (WLS) has commercials running into the actual programming. Trying to narrow down if it is the TVE stream that is issue or something with Channels. Below is the relevant log from a recording that exhibited this behavior:

I also do have an OTA I was going to attempt. Is there a way to have it record both the TVE stream (6001) and OTA (7.1)? I setup a Pass for each and the OTA finds the Matches but doesn't actually record, guessing it determines it's duplicate?

First of all it's not clear what you mean by this.
The actual commercials run late and so you don't see part of the programming, or the markers Channels DVR puts in for the commercial segments are wrong?
Commercial detection will not be consistently 100% accurate. It's hit and miss.

Not with a pass on a single server.
Without a pass you can individually select the airings from the guide for recording.
Or setup another server so one server has the OTA source, another server has the TVE source.

Thanks for the quick reply. It isn't the commercial detection as I've turned it off. It's the actual stream itself. It will have commercials, go to an ABC logo with a message then go into the programming mid-way. This leads me to believe the TVE stream itself is the issue but wanted to verify. If it is I guess the next question is who would I even reach out to to complain..

Agree. You could verify by streaming it from their live website (where Channels DVR gets it from).
