Family complaining that the OWN channel loses connection every time the show goes to a commercial. Found an "Error during stream" in the logs. e3e56d4b-078d-484b-bc3b-a647144d2618
I have re-scanned the channel, but that didn't make any difference.
Thoughts?
I had this the other day when we tuned to the price is right channel on plutotv. Every commercial break the stream would freeze. I tested by recording one of the shows and it played fine. Seems that live was the only issue for me
I had that on a couple of the Pluto channels as well back in the early days, but it haven't seen it recently. Although I dont watch the Pluto channels regularly.
I wonder if it has something to do with how they inject commercials into the stream that causes the problem. Pluto's ads feel somewhat different than a normal broadcast channel. Maybe the OWN stream on TVE is using something similar and therefor exhibits similar results.
I haven't tried to record and don't watch that channel much myself, but will give it a try to see if there is anything noticeable. I am taking a hit on the WAF, or in this case my Daughter so DAF, so eager to get this resolved.

This seems to appear on any of the channels that are not provided by them. Like Weather Nation and and Buzzr. I like this issue to be rectified so I can return to watch programs from Pluto, I hate The ones provided by TVE you have to watch the stupid "in commercial slate". I rather watch the commercials then watch this slide, not knowing when the program returns. Most all these live channels are not watchable due to Pluto inserting their spots in these time slots. I always have to back out of live and select the channels again to resume programming.
