Okay, so being one of the people that will need to find an alternative to PS Vue, I have a question that will impact my decision: What kind of stream limits are imposed when accessing TVE channels via Channels DVR? I get that you can share streams, when watching the same channel on different devices, but what is the impact on the application itself? If I have an OTT service that allows just 2 streams at a time, with Channels DVR, does that mean I can do no more than 2 streams, at once, or is it different when access those streams via TVE? I would hate to end up where I either have 3 things to record and do not have enough streams to accommodate...or I have 2 things to record, but can't watch something else, because of the limit. I really did not worry much about it with 5 streams from PS Vue. But, I may be shooting myself in the foot if I go with YTTV and only get 3 streams, which limits the DVR capabilities of Channels DVR...versus, just using YTTV's DVR and still have the 3 live streams available.
TVE streams don't come from your provider. They come from the network websites, and there is no limit as each network is separate and doesn't know what other websites you are streaming from.

Excellent...thanks for the quick response.
Hi, just wanted some clarify if the DVR or the Apple/Android device that does the heavy lifting.
So if I have Channels DVR on my desktop PC is there a limit to how many Firesticks I can have in my house playing live content simultaneously?
The streaming happens on the DVR server software.
You can have as many clients as you want in your home, subject to your home network capacity.
