Tvheadend HD or SD label

Hi. I am importing from Tvheadend and every channel is set to “HD”. Is there a way set some of the channels to “SD”? Thanks.

You can use Channel Collections to create whichever arbitrary groups/categories you like.

I just feed the m3u into the DVR and it just automatically picks “HD” on the server side. I don’t use collections. So for example when you bring down the info bar they all say “HD”.

I wonder is it possible to export a HD m3u and SD m3u separately? But I’m not sure how channels interprets the m3u to decide the category.

As I understand it, all imported/non-HDHR sources are imported as HD.

If you need to further categorize your channels, Collections are the means to do so.
