I picked up a Tvision Hub remote from T-Mobile (for $10) to see if it might work with the Google Chromecast with Google TV and Channels. Good news is that it does sync up easily and some buttons work well including voice search which is usually an issue with using a different remote with this thing. The basic directional buttons work along withe channel up and down, but I was disappointed to see that neither the numbers nor the media playback buttons worked. I was able to see through Button Mapper that the media buttons could be reassigned but the number buttons just don't come up at all. And the volume buttons are also a no go. The remote shows up as "B100" - it's too bad because it has a nice feel and is almost perfect in terms of size and nearly all of the buttons you would want to pair nicely with Channels, if only they could function.
