tvOS Audio output shortcut -> HomePod

Would it be possible to be put an Audio output shortcut under the pull down menu? I believe this comes by default when using but built in video player, but I know you use a custom one. The reason I ask is I just setup a HomePod in my kitchen, and it’s handy to toggle the TV output to the kitchen so we can hear the TV audio better. But currently I have to exit channels, go to the system settings, and toggle it there.

I was hoping for the same. My homepod switches easily to Siri when listening to music, but then to watch tv, I have to select AirPlay by getting into settings/audio/output. It would be great to audio select within the channels app. Or I can just spend the next 12 months teaching my wife how to do this over and over.

I would like the same feature, a number of other apps have it.

Here’s a shortcut to change the audio out setting rather than navigating through menus. From the ATV home screen hold down the play/pause button on the remote for a few seconds, a menu will pop up that allow you to select the audio output.
