Two DVR issues

Thank you for a wonderful product which I am thoroughly enjoying. I have noticed two quirks, however:

I am recording from Locast in the SF area and have passes for several showis on the Buzzr channel. It worked fine for several days. Then I noticed that in playback, the newest recordings had no sound and reported bizarre running lengths, like 1325 minutes for a half-hour show.

I then checked out the MP4 files on the hard drive; they do have sound, the picture is frozen and playback quickly peters out even though the correct running length is reported.

At the moment when I watch Buzzr live, it has sound. I also get Buzzr via Hulu and might be able to figure out how to record from there, but any theories about what is going on?

Second problem: From the Decades channel via Locast, I recorded nine episodes of the Dick Cavett Show. One does not show up for playback within Channels even though it's on the hard drive and the MP4 plays back fine. In addition, Channels says that I have "five episodes"--but it shows eight, three of which are at the end in a "season 5" section. Any ideas about why one episode is invisible?

Thanks,

Channels DVR does not record to MP4. Do you mean MPG or are you converting the files somehow?

Sorry, I meant MPG. The raw files as viewed outside the app.

Ah okay.

Sometimes the locast feeds have encoding issues. If its happening on live tv right now, please try on the locast site or their app to see if happens there too.

If you can submit diagnostics from the DVR web UI we'll see if the logs show any other problems while those were recording.
