Two homes/two server setup

Channels DVR Server

Context: 2 homes, one in USA, one in Italy
USA home has QNAP server running Channels DVR - also hosts imported video (DVD rips)
Italy home has Windows server (Lenovo Tiny) hosting same videos.

Question - could the Channels App (right now I am using a Firestick) access remote Live TV and DVR content but access video library locally (no bandwidth use to view content stored in both places)?

No. Only local access to HDHR tuners is supported when connected to a remote DVR. (This is because local content is handled through the DVR, and a client can only connected to a single DVR at a time.)

Thanks - thought as much, was hoping it was possible.

Most likely my best bet is to drop Import from Channels DVR and use another app to access the local video library.
